The aim of the SKYMAG 2014 workshop is to gather leading scientists over three days in a format like the Gordon Research Conferences, with invited talks and contributed oral and poster sessions that will help to promote stimulating exchange and discussions.
The goals are to identify the experimental and theoretical opportunities of chiral magnetic order as well as the breakthroughs required to develop potentially new types of skyrmion based devices for information storage and processing.
We are delighted about what we hope will be a fruitful gathering of the different communities working on chiral order in magnetism, with an emphasis on the emerging and exciting field of skyrmion physics.
Details concerning registration and abstract submission will appear soon.
We look forward to seeing you soon in Paris!
